Cultural Diversity in Healthcare
Many organizations include cultural diversity training in their new employee orientation. It may not be a requirement in small privately-owned organizations, but in big organizations and government agencies, this is a requirement. Why? These companies are trying to avert any lawsuit and claim that they have not trained their employees about the cultural differences of the clients they serve. It will kind of absolve the organization or they will have a better defense against any client that claims the organization’s employees discriminated against them because their employees did not have any training on cultural diversity. This course is intended to assist healthcare workers in providing “culturally sensitive” care.
