CNA Scope of Practice
Scope of practice is based on what your license as a Certified Nursing Assistant allows you to do as the State specifies. CNA’s scope of practice covers everything that you were taught in CNA school. The State regulates all CNA schools. The State looks into every school or education provider that trains CNAs and makes sure the training they provide covers all the important skills, so that they may function as CNAs. This course identifies the specific tasks that CNAs are allowed to do. It also explores some scenarios in which providing care may be obscured as a CNA, without their knowledge, may be practicing beyond their scope of practice.
